Touring the UK from September 2021
Victorian London, the late 1800s. Gabriel Utterson, a close friend of Dr Jekyll and witness to the facts of his shocking tail, cannot forget the nightmare through which he lived. Although the events have passed, his mind is restless. On the verge of despair, his search for help brings him to a dark corner of London… In order to salvage Utterson’s morphed mind and put it to rest, he must first relive the Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
This faithful adaptation takes the audience through the major plot points and scenes of the novella in a 60 minute performance, followed by a workshop (up to 30 minutes) in which we explore how key themes and quotations of the original text informed our decisions with the production. This includes time for general questions and answers with the actors. The material explored in the performance and workshop links directly into the key assessment criteria of the GCSE exam boards.
Price
The cost of a single performance is £750 (+VAT) or if you have two shows in a day it is £1250 (+VAT). This includes both the show and post-show workshop Q&A.
There is no additional cost for transport.
